In the Music Industry Professional Analysis Assignment, you analyzed a person’s career, place in culture, and brand identity. Now, it’s time to turn your focus inward.
Whether you’re trying to be an “artist” with your name on the record or you’re trying to create art as a producer, engineer, manager, etc., this assignment asks you to lay out your creative vision for your career. There are no wrong answers — just be true to yourself.
Write two paragraphs that answer the following questions:
Who are you?
What kind of music do you make or help others make?
What does that process look like?
What is your Capstone Project? How does it fit into all of the above?
