Scale Builder 2
Build major scales from different starting notes, each with its own note length.
Activity
Directions:
Pick a note from List A and use the major scale formula to build an ascending major scale. When building the scale, pick a note length from List B and make sure each note is the same length. Repeat the process two more times in the same region, starting on a different note and using different note lengths for each scale.
Formula: W - W - H - W - W - W - H
List A: D, E, F, G, A, B, Db, Eb, Gb, Ab, Bb
List B: Whole, Half, Quarter, Eighth, Sixteenth, Thirty-Second
