Check out Smash Boom Best, the “Forts vs. Puzzles" episode. It is a debate podcast for kids, where two things go head to head and you get to decide the winner.

As you listen, be a podcast detective. Afterward, talk about these questions together as a class:
What kind of podcast is this? Narrative, interview, or chat?
How does it start? Did the beginning make you want to keep listening?
What sounds did you hear? Where did they use music or sound effects, and what did those add?
What was your favorite part, and why?
What is one thing you would change or add if it were your podcast?
Teacher note: Play a short clip or the full episode depending on your class and time. The questions work the same either way.
