Preview both samples and choose one to work with.
Delete the unused sample and mute the drums for now.
Chop and/or warp your chosen sample to transform it into something new.
Loop the edited sample once you're happy with how it sounds.
Unmute the drums and bring them in one at a time.
Arrange the one-shot drums into a pattern that fits your sample.
Make any final edits to your sample chops, adjust volume levels, or try adding variation.
