Follow along step by step to complete the exercise at your own pace.
Open Preferences and go to the Audio tab.
Select your Audio Input Device: Built-in Microphone, Audio Interface, or USB Mic.
Select the output Audio Output Device and make sure sound is going to your headphones.
Arm the “Vocals” track for recording by clicking the Arm button.
Check your input levels: Speak as loudly as you plan to perform and adjust the input gain so that your signal is strong but doesn’t clip.
Use the timeline markers to see where each script line goes and record line-by-line or all at once, whichever feels easier.
Press the Arrangement Record button to begin recording.
Listen back to your recording and make any necessary edits.
Save your work! Cmd+S (Mac) / Ctrl+S (Windows)
