Exercise 2: Envelopes

Step-By-Step

Follow along step by step to complete the exercise at your own pace.

  1. Solo the Chords Track.

  2. Adjust the ADSR Controls on Envelope 1.

  3. Solo the Bass Track.

  4. Bring the filter Cutoff down to around 500Hz.

  5. Increase the amount of Frequency Modulation for Envelope 2.

  6. Turn up the Resonance knob.

  7. Adjust the ADSR Controls on Envelope 2.

  8. Solo the Lead Track.

  9. Increase the amount of Pitch Modulation for Envelope 2.

  10. Adjust the ADSR Controls on Envelope 2.

  11. Listen to everything together and make any adjustments to the Envelopes as you see fit.

  12. Save your work! Cmd+S (Mac) / Ctrl+S (Windows)
