Creative Communities Continue

Continue building a classroom community around making and sharing original music.

This curriculum will take you deep into the creative process and push you as an artist, collaborator, musician, and member of your creative community. 

The code of mutual respect from Music Production 1 remains in place: criticism must always be constructive and students must always support one another. Now, with the Soundtrap guard rails down, it’s time to renew your commitment to kindness as you and your peers make mistakes on the way to making great music. 

This time, we’ll focus on Ableton Live. If Soundtrap is a bike with training wheels, Ableton Live is a motorcycle. It’s easier to fall on a motorcycle, but a real engine can take you places that are out of reach on training wheels.

Remember, you are each other’s most valuable assets in the classroom today and in the professional world down the road. Your teacher will lay the foundation with this curriculum, but only you and your fellow students can actually build something beautiful together.
