Why do you like the music you like? 

This mini curriculum will give you the tools to answer the question above and explore how different sounds and musical styles connect to the larger culture. 

You’re going to develop the ability to really listen. Every great rapper, singer, producer, guitarist, DJ, etc. listens first and then does their thing. 

95% of being a great musician is being a great listener. Just like we need words to better understand the world around us, we need words to better understand music in our headphones, at a concert, in a soundtrack, etc.
