The rubrics already exist as Google Docs. This block covers how to use them and how to get them to students. Link out; don't rebuild in-platform.
How they're built
One rubric per production phase (Concept, Planning & Writing, Pre-Production & Recording, Post-Production, Release & Reflect), each on a 4-level scale (Exceeding / Meeting / Needs Improvement / Beginning). Post-Production splits into Edits and Key Moments.
How to grade fast
You do not need to listen to the whole episode. Open the student's graphic organizer alongside the rubric, then use the Key Moments timestamps to jump to the intro, segments, and outro. Most episodes can be assessed in 3–5 minutes. The organizer's Recording Notes and Edit Log are your evidence for the recording and post-production rows.
Getting them to students
Share the rubric as a view-only link so students can see the target before they produce. The Concept phase especially improves when students know what “Level 4 audience awareness" looks like up front. Don't hand out an editable copy.
