The pacing guide reflects an average school year with 35 weeks of active instruction. The materials have been laid out to ensure that the learning objectives are met while giving students have ample work time.
We know that each class has a unique mix of students and is subject to a schedule particular to that school. Please think of the pacing guide as a recommended schedule for introducing concepts, working through projects, and engaging in listening parties. The pacing guide is not meant to be prescriptive!
