The MIDI unit ends with a Collaboration Project. It begins with a discussion page where students reflect on best practices for collaboration. We provide a few collaboration essentials: respect, open-mindedness, communication, and shared responsibilities. We then provide a series of questions to help prompt a deeper discussion as a class.
Like a reflection, this discussion comes with a force copy Google Doc to write down big ideas from the class discussion as you go. It can be helpful to refer back to that document as the Collaboration Project progresses to keep students grounded. As the discussion comes to a close, review all that you wrote down.
