We encourage students to share their work with the group after each reflection and project. Young Producers Group’s pedagogy revolves around listening parties where a creative community can thrive and get inspired in a social setting.
Reflections:
After each student reflects on their own, the teacher should hold a group discussion where students share their thoughts and find consensus.
Projects:
Each project should be followed by a culminating activity. See below for more:
Class presentation: Each student shares their work in front of the class on the projector. Teacher introduces the student and prompts students applaud before and after the presentation. Students should ask questions and participate in a discussion.
Gallery walk: Computers are set up in an easily accessible way with a piece of paper and pen next to it so students can provide feedback.
Partner share: Students are paired into partners and share their work with each other.
We’ve included recommended culminating activities after each project description in the previous Projects and Reflections section of the handbook.
